"I just wanted to reach out to Goumas to express my happiness of just receiving in the mail 2 boxes of my favorite candy, Maple Walnut and Maple Creme. I was upset to hear that the Maple Walnut candy is going to be discontinued. This is my childhood favorite and I hope that this isn't true. I grew up in Newark Ohio in the 70's. I lived at Camelot Apartments on Country Club Drive, which are now private condos. I went to grade school at William E Miller, which closed in 2010. We had horses boarded at Morgan Farms, which was located right next door to my grade school, the house has since been torn down. Things and places from my childhood memory are beginning to change or disappear. I hope that one of my dearest childhood memories of your maple walnut candy continues to be available. I now live in California since the late 70's and the first thing we do when we visit Newark, is go to Goumas to pick up our favorite candy. Thank you for filling up my childhood with sweet memoires."

"Goumas candies are WONDERFUL! I've enjoyed them for nearly 60 years and while all the chocolates are great, my favorite Goumas treat is the caramels individually wrapped in yellow taxed paper. Fabulous! Goumas sweets make a great gift for anyone with a sweet tooth, especially as hostess gifts."
